ANOTHER LAND DEALER MURDERED: After a brief hiatus, another Palestinian land
dealer was murdered after being suspected of selling land to Jews in Jerusalem.
The body of Badawi Jawlani, 63, was discovered recently west of Ram'Allah near
the Area B village of Surda, which is under Israeli security control. He had been
shot in the head. The body was found by Palestinian passersby who notified the
PA/PLO security forces. The Samaria and Judea District Police launched an
investigation. Julani, who lived in East Jerusalem, had an Israeli identity care. In the
past, he was convicted of stealing gold and was sentenced to several years in
prison. East Jerusalem sources reported that Julani had recently become a land
dealer. He is the sixth land dealer to be killed in the last year. (YEDIOT
