Hello everyone, I was intrigued with the whole bible code pheonomena and decided to check it out for myself with my limited knowledge of exactly what it was. What I am doing is taking the book of Revelation and looking for words at every 7 or 10 letters apart (7 and 10 being the most pertinent in my mind to the book of Revelation). These are some of the things that I found so far: At Revelation 11:3 the following words were found: dirt, Enosh, keys, weep "And I will give power unto my two witnesses and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days clothed in sackcloth" [The two witnesses will be given a lot of power (keys), and there will be (weep)ing and usually when their is sackcloth there are ashes thrown around (dirt).] This one is peculiarly American: At Revelation 6:15 the following words were found: bay, deed, dice, feat, gay, hie, men, mint, rain, sear "And the kings of the earth and the great men and the rich men and the chief captains and the mighty men and every bondman and every free man hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains" [If you are looking for a haven of (gay) (men), then San Francisco (Bay) is one contender. Sear=to burn. Hie=quickly, etc. I put up what the dictionary says about a few of these words and they all seem to tie in. The only one that stumps me is mint (if anyone has any ideas about this one, I'd like to hear it).] At Revelation 6:7,8,9,10 there is a cluster of words that should be read together. The main thrust of the passages are that everyone will be happy that the two witnesses are dead, etc. The words clap, clap (applause), woe, rage, Rome, etc. are all in there. At Revelation 12:8 the words Cain and Rome were found. "And prevailed not neither was their place found any more in heaven." Now, let me say I've been pooh-poohed by the best, but I still thought it interesting enough to share it with the list. My interpretations may be out in left field, but it doesn't make the words go away. If anyone is interested in seeing what else was found so far, I have put it up on my web page: www.mv.com/ipusers/butterfly/codes/00index.htm If you are interested in the "real" bible codes, there is a free Windows 95 program that will allow you to do it like the experts. You can check both Hebrew OT and English NT: www.prophezine.com/tcode/index.shtml I, of course, couldn't get the thing to run, but maybe someone else will have better luck :) Peace, Moza
