PILGRIMAGE TO THE TEMPLE MOUNT On April 13, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement together with many Israelis will make a unique pilgrimage to the Temple Mount and march in the streets of the Old City and around all the gates of the Temple Mount. Exactly as it was done in Biblical times, before Passover we shall cut the Omer, the first wheat, from the fields of Israel and bring it to the Temple Mount as a thanksgiving sacrifice and offering to the G-d of Israel. In the Tabernacle and First and Second Temples the offering was brought to the Temple where the priests lifted it up on the altar and it was given to the G-d of Israel in appreciation and thankfulness for the blessings that He put on the fields and land of Israel. The first wheat and fruits were always brought to our Creator who made the land a land of milk and honey. It is a special experience to go to the fields of Israel and to cut the first wheat to the honor of G-d. We do it with a special blessing and songs from the Psalms. It is then brought to Jerusalem in sheaves and on the day of the pilgrimage we shall bring it with us to the Temple Mount in a special ceremony. Special Biblical songs will follow this ceremony and dancers will dance with the wheat in front of the Holy of Holies. This ceremony was held for many years in Israel on the Kibbutzim. Now it will done in the right place - in Jerusalem and on the Temple Mount. This will be a special message and statement about the prophetic godly time in which we are now living. It will express all of our desires and prayers for the rebuilding of the Temple, the renewal of our days as in Biblical times and the coming of Mashiach ben David. After the pilgrimage we will march in the Old City with flags, music and dancing. We shall also march around the walls of the Temple Mount and to all the gates of this holy site. Near the gates we will pray from the Psalms, dance and sing biblical songs. The most unique place on the march will be in front of the Eastern Gate. There we shall pray for the opening of the gate and the coming of Mashiach ben David through this special gate. There we shall swear to continue our campaign and activities with all our devotion and dedication and that we shall do everything to ensure that the terrible abomination on the Temple Mount will be stopped and moved and that the Third temple will soon be built in our lifetime. This will be an important godly event before the accomplishment of the remainder of G-d's prophetic plans for the people and land of Israel and then of all mankind. This will also be a very exciting day and everyone of our friends is invited to take part in it.
